Pubic services survey open for answers now
17/05/2012
Business people based in Worcestershire can tell the people behind local public services exactly what they think by taking part in the latest Viewpoint survey.
The local area, public services, local democracy, customer service and ‘ensuring a prosperous and sustainable future’ are among the hot topics.
Worcestershire County Council, the district councils, NHS Worcestershire and Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue all use the results of the survey. Examples of the questions include:
What measures should be top priorities to help prevent and cope with flooding? Which energy saving measures would you be like to be funded through the Green Deal?
What, if anything, would encourage you to use walking, cycling or public transport as an alternative to travelling by car?
Do you know who your local elected representatives are? And how to contact them?
To take part, anyone who lives in Worcestershire can register for the Viewpoint panel at www.worcestershire.gov.uk/viewpoint
The survey can be completed online until Friday 22 June and the answers are used to inform future decision-making about what services are provided and how, which is particularly vital in the current economic climate.
