Worcestershire LEP Energy Strategy Stakeholder Workshop - Warndon
3rd July 2018 09:30 to 12:00 Free
Worcestershire LEP wants your views on the development of a local Energy Strategy which will build on the area's strengths and deliver affordable energy and clean growth. The work will inform Worcestershire's Local Industrial Strategy which is being developed later in 2018. The Energy Strategy is being developed in partnership with Encraft and Sustainability West Midlands (SWM).
We’d like to invite you to attend a stakeholder engagement workshop where we will share information about the Energy Strategy and capture your feedback and your local knowledge, especially around key themes relating to low carbon energy potential, growth of the low carbon sector, fuel poverty, grid capacity and energy related planning policy.
The Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership (WLEP) is developing the energy strategy to build awareness of the LEP's role in the context of energy, provide a pathway for the LEP to build on previous work, capitalise on the area's strengths and address the challenges of decarbonisation to deliver affordable energy and clean growth for Worcestershire.
Feedback from the workshops will be taken into account in the development of the Energy Strategy.
