Have you logged into your FinditinWorcestershire account recently? Protecting your data is a top priority, so we are encouraging all members who haven’t managed to update their passwords to do it now, in line with our enhanced security measures.

Have you logged into your FinditinWorcestershire account recently?

Protecting your data is a top priority, so we are encouraging all members who haven’t managed to update their passwords to do it now, in line with our enhanced security measures.

It only takes a couple of minutes and you can update your password in just two simple steps:

1. Log in to FinditinWorcestershire with your email address and password from the old site – don’t worry if you’ve forgotten your password, you can request a password reset here.

2. You’ll then be encouraged to create a new password and choose a security question and answer. Once you have done this, you will be redirected back to the login page.

You can then log in to FinditinWorcestershire using your email address and new password and check your profile and sector lists via your dashboard.  

Your dashboard helps control the latest and most relevant opportunities to you, and with a higher volume of opportunities due to appear on the site, it is more important than ever to update your sectors.

Updating sectors - what do I need to do?

Visit ‘Your Dashboard’, this can be found at the top right hand corner of the screen. Click on the drop down next to your name and select 'Dashboard'.

From the tabs to the left of your dashboard, under 'Personal Profile', select 'Sectors of Interest'. This section ensures that once you have selected the sectors that you are interested in, you will receive contract/tender email alerts if posted in your chosen sectors. To do this, simply use the search box to find what you need and click on 'Add' to develop your list.

Next we need you to click on your 'Business Profile' and select ‘Company Sectors’. Again, use the search box to find the sectors that relate to your business. Click 'Add' to build your list. Updating this list will ensure you are listed under 'Search for a Supplier' correctly and if our Quick Quote function is used to source a local company, it will ensure you are invited to bid for work.

If you make a mistake in either, you can delete any sectors that aren’t relevant by clicking on 'Remove'.

What happens if I don’t check my sectors?

If you’re not listed in the correct sectors, you won’t get email alerts about new opportunities relevant to you. And when your fellow members search for a supplier by sector, you might not appear in their results.
