Local businesses to be given the opportunity to meet civil engineering contractor

Leading regional civil engineering and construction contractor Alun Griffiths (Contractors) Ltd is back in Worcestershire in March and would like to meet suppliers and subcontractors to join its supply chain.

Alun Griffiths is Worcestershire County Council’s Infrastructure Engineering Term contractor, for its major infrastructure improvement programme in Worcestershire and they also have the contract for the final phase of the Southern Link Road.

One of the key improvements is to fully dual the A4440 Southern Link in Worcester from Junction 7 of the M5 to Powick Roundabout and the final phase of the scheme is about to begin.

A breakfast event will be held at Sixways Stadium on Tuesday 19 March from 7am until 9:30am for local SMEs, suppliers and sub-contractors looking for opportunities to work locally with the contractor.

Attending businesses will be able to meet the buying team, major projects director and operations director all heading up the contracts with Worcestershire County Council.

In addition to hearing about the works on the various projects, delegates can book a one-to-one meeting as part of the 'Meet the Buyer' event to discuss what their business can offer.
