Worcester-based charity, Dancefest are seeking applications for the role of its Chair of the Board.
Dancefest enables anyone to experience the joy of dance. It runs over 30 weekly classes across Herefordshire and Worcestershire, has three youth companies, and lead projects in schools, colleges and universities, as well as in community settings, such as residential homes.
It is looking for a Chair with the expertise and experience to help consolidate the charity's achievements and mould its strategic future.
As an individual, you will be in a position to help advocate for its work and act as an ambassador for the charity, sharing its commitment to access and inclusion in all aspects of the charity's work.
It is expected that the Chair will work with Dancefest for a minimum term of three years. During this time they will work with the Board and staff to determine the long-term structure and resources for the organisation, will play a key role in diversifying income and will oversee a number of anticipated changes to the way it delivers the programme.

Dancefest is a charity that relies on public donations and fundraising to continue its work. It is is funded with public investment from Arts Council England, Worcestershire County Council and Worcester City Council, with additional support from Worcester Municipal Charities, The Elmley Foundation, Saintbury Trust and Comic Relief.
Dancefest is also keen to hear from potential advisors, particularly dance practitioners, people with a background in business, finance and fundraising, law or health.
