Oakleaf Commercial Services and the Oakleaf Doors and Windows brand are delighted to announce the appointment of a new contract awarded by Solihull Community Housing, which over the next five years is to deliver their planned maintenance programme for the replacement of PVC-u windows and composite doors. The works begin from April 2018.
The award comes following a tender process involving a competitive price, examination of quality standards and methods followed by a presentation and interview by the Solihull Asset Management Team.
Keith Burgess, Executive Business Manager for Oakleaf Commercial Services said: "The contract is worth an estimated £3m including all the associated building works.
“The brand has grown from strength to strength and we are manufacturing and fitting a quality product which clients are appreciating and are keen to work with Oakleaf. We have a bright and optimistic future".
Mark Jenkins, Production Manager, continued: "We are now working hard mobilising the team and suppliers in readiness to hit the ground running on 1 April 2018. I am hoping that we can start surveying properties and introducing ourselves to Solihull residents from March."
The contract will create more job opportunities for surveyors, fabricators and window fitters as well as creating work for our partners such as scaffolding contractors.
Luke Roberts, Assistant Production Manager, also expressed his delight in the contract award and added: "It’s particularly pleasing to win the contract because of its high value and because it comes so soon after winning a contract in December with WM Housing to do roof lining works for the next twelve months in Hereford and Worcestershire; the WM contract being valued at over £30,000."
