The Innovation Special event, held at Sixways Stadium in Worcester, provided an opportunity for companies who were able to meet with key organisations on a one-to-one basis, including Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Trust, West Midlands Combined Authority and West Midlands Academic Health Science Network.

The event was hosted by Jessica Antley, Senior Project Manager for Innovation at Worcestershire County Council who manages WINN – the Worcestershire Innovation programme. Key speakers included Michael Newnham from Red Curve Ltd and Hugo Russell, Project Manager at Innovation Engine, who highlighted the importance of innovation and technology and how innovation supports SMEs within Worcestershire, as well as sharing their top tips, tools and techniques for success.

Jessica comments: “This event has been well received by local businesses and has enabled them to meet key people and gain valuable knowledge from organisations.. Worcestershire is a real hub of creativity and attendees were enthusiastic to meet with key influencers to help learn about bringing their product to the marketplace.”
