Oakleaf Commercial Services has received a further Considerate Constructors Scheme National Site Award to add to their collection, for their Keats Place development in Kidderminster.
The site is part of the successful Garage Development Programme, where the company transform old garage sites (Brownfield land) into new-build housing for Wyre Forest Community Housing. This particular site consists of 7 properties, which have been produced as Shared Ownership homes, to enable local people to get their foot onto the housing ladder.
The Considerate Constructors Scheme’s National Site Awards recognise those sites registered with the Scheme that have raised the bar for considerate construction, and the award winners are selected from the top performing 10%. To win an award is an exceptional achievement and illustrates those sites that have made the greatest contribution towards improving the image of construction.
Ian Hancock, Managing Director for Oakleaf Commercial Services said: “This is great news and following the success with our Bronze awards last year, we focus on continually raising the standards and improving the image of construction not only towards the public but also our workforce and environment.”
The team will now have to wait until end of March at the prize ceremony as to whether they have won a Bronze, Silver or Gold award. For more information on the Shared Ownership properties that are currently available, please visit www.wfchsales.co.uk.
