In Detail

This brand new business loan fund has been especially designed to meet the needs of growing small and medium sized businesses that are unable to secure finance from traditional lenders, such as banks.

The scheme, which aims to fuel the growth of businesses across Worcestershire, has been joint-funded by Worcestershire County Council. Loans range from £10,000 to £50,000 and are being made available for viable SMEs that can show real growth potential and to take on additional staff.

Since the launch, three businesses have already benefited from loans with £117,500 already being allocated from the £1.2m pot which has in turn, already created 25 new jobs within the county. A further 15 businesses are in the pipeline and being supported by the BCRS Business Development Manager.
